Praia Do Camilo a Place of Sheer Beauty

Early Mornings at Praia do Camilo

Although stunningly beautiful this place was not as crowded as I first thought. It was such a beautiful and stunning beach that we returned to it 3 times. 2 5am morning sessions to get shots of the beach all to then one attempt and ourselves for sunset. The wooden stairs that go down to the beach are arguably one of the reasons tourists flock to the area. From an aerial perspective the stairs add so much to the beauty of the place. The beach itself is quite small but that is what makes it a beautiful and cozy beach. The water is almost so clear that it is transparent and the sand the type you can dig your feet into. I loved this beach due to the unique rock formations. Before descending down the 200 wooden steps take a minute to take in the natural surroundings and take a look at the beach from above. There are a few great spots next to the car park for a banger photo! Once you reach the beach there will be a small cave tunnel, walk through that to reach another beach, which is even less crowded and just as beautiful. I would highly recommend heading down to Praia da camilo if you plan to visit the Algarve. Right down the road of this beach is another famous landmark called Ponta da Piede. Make sure to have a look at that one too as it is unmissable!
