Sandwich Crafts

Sandwich Craft is located in the traditional neighborhood of la Ciutadella, in the North East part of the city. Just in front of El Parque de la Ciudadela, one of the biggest green spots of Barcelona.

Mike, the owner, is a really nice English man who’s been living in Barcelona for more than 15 years. He told me that he’s always dreamt about opening a healthy spot in front of that park and he made it.

Fried Chicken

The menu is divided into two parts, the healthy one: salad bowls, and the grease one: burgers, sandwiches and pizzas.

Here, I tried 3 dishes. First a Mexican salad. It’s a gluten-free vegan salad bowl containing read beans, avocado, sweet corn, lettuce, corn chips and spicy mango sauce. A delight.

Greek Salad

I was on the healthy train so I decided to try another salad. The Greek Bowl: this is a gluten-free vegetarian salad bowl, containing quinoa, feta cheese, cucumber, olives, tomatoes, yogurt sauce and oregano. Fresh and light.

At this point, the healthy train decided to go off the rails and I ordered a Fried Chicken Burger. This was perfect, a really spicy and tasty fried chicken breast with lettuce between two fluffy buns.

This is the perfect place to have a battle with yourself and your healthy eating. You can go super healthy or super fatty. My recommendation, go both ways :).
