Bar Mash - Amsterdam

First impression? Bar Mash is a fun and super tiny bar in De Pijp in Amsterdam to go for drinks with friends. In the warm weather months, they have long beer tables outside which are perfect for afternoon drinks in the sun. They serve a series of national and international beers, award-winning wines, homemade cocktails, and great Thai food

What's the crowd like? If you've ever been to Amsterdam you know that the crowd everywhere is pretty always drop-dead gorgeous. Good genes I guess! This place is no different and was packed with the good looking youth of the area sipping wine and smoking cigarettes (a lot of cigarettes LOL)

Drink Review This is more of a gin and tonic or a beer type of place but I didn't mind. Sometimes simplicity is key! They do a few nice wines produced by local vendors like the Metamorphika Orange Brisat. Produced by Joan Franquet @costadorwines

Should you eat as well?

The menu is modest but what they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. They serve great Thai food and snacks as well as delicious traditional bitterballen. The Thai took me by surprise but it did not disappoint and was deliciously authentic. I highly recommend the Thai Thai draft beer and the Pad Thai!

Is it a YAY or NAY? My time here was well spent lounging with friends in the sun and Mash is a great spot to start the evening before heading into the night. Its a 100% YAY.
