Stockholm

Traveling through Scandinavia

After finishing up my trip through Norway, I came back to Oslo and took a trail to Stockholm, Sweden. I bought a eurail train pass, was about $150 for 6 rides and it was a smart idea personally.

Train ride was about 5hrs and once I arrived in Stockholm the sun was going down. Went straight to my hostel and right away became friends with my roommate, his name was Robbie and he was from New Zealand. We agreed to meet up for a few drinks later on.

After setting up my bed, I started getting hungry, and I knew that sweden is known for their meatballs. Looked around the city for meatballs and found this place with great reviews. I can’t remember the name of the restuarant but if you google meatballs in stockholm, it should be the top 3.

The meatballs were very delicious and would highly recommend it. Of course it was December so Christmas markets everywhere!

I wasn't in Stockholm for that long but after dinner, I met up with Robbie for a few drinks, walked around the city and took pictures. since then we've kept in contact through facebook.

The next morning I woke up a but early because my train was leaving at 8am to copenhagen, Denmark. It was a good short time in stockholm and even got myself some famous swedish chocolate!
