Mr Fogg's House of Botanicals 🍹🌾

An oasis full of exotic flora and fauna

London has really upped its game lately when it comes to the sudden influx of quirky, cool, and vibrant cocktail places sprouting up across the city, with Mr Fogg's House of Botanicals being placed in a solid second position.. (my winning choice to be confirmed in another post!). I had been eyeing up the place for the past few months with it’s somewhat attractive and alluring exterior beckoning me to pay a visit, and EVENTUALLY a few weeks ago I scheduled it into my Friday night… and oh my it was worth the wait.

As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with the most amazing floral and sweet smell that instantly gets your taste buds going, combined with an actual wow factor on the interior front. It is so stunning that I actually stopped in the doorway to take it all in, from the floor to the ceiling it presents an oasis full of exotic flora and fauna, ferns, plants, quaint bird cages and quaint trinkets. With the spiral staircase taking centre stage (for me anyway!). It honestly feels like you’re walking into a conservatory in Kew Gardens, in a good way!

The cocktail list is great, they serve them in really cute cups that suit the theme of the place perfectly, with the cocktail makers creating a truly theatrical experience behind the bar. Just to note that they do offer beers, wine, gin etc if you aren’t fancying a cocktail. If you want some food or table nibbles they have a delicious menu for you to take a look at! We had the sausage roll with piccalilli which was a perfect little addition to our drinks.

I can’t rate this place enough! If you’re visiting London and you’d like to go somewhere iconic, special and offers a different experience then definitely give Mr Fogg's House of Botanicals a go.
