Touring the City of Lights in a Lamborghini

Rent a Luxury Car and Tour the City the Right Way!

Top Down , Eyes up

I normally try to stay away from seeing monuments (unless its from above!). They are usually too crowded and the experience doesn’t live up to the hype. But Paris and its monuments are special in a way that only certain cities are. Even though you’ve seen these structures hundreds of times on TV and in movies, they come alive when you see them in person. And that same energy gets into you. It makes you feel brand new. And so, while I hadn’t originally planned to visit the Eiffel Tower during my stay in the City of Lights, by my second day there I knew I had to. The only question was how.

Total Control Total Control

I ended up renting a Lamborghini with a company that offered tours of Paris in exotic cars. And yes, while it was great to be touring the city in a luxury car and match the money vibe that Paris exudes, what felt even better was the feeling of total control. I was the one stopping at the lights, letting pedestrians cross, putting the top down even though it was November. I felt like I was a part of the city, not just some spectator.

My tour guide was by my side the entire time. My tour guide was by my side the entire time.

And as great as that was, the best part was the tower itself. The tour guide is sitting beside you the entire time, but feels more like a friend than a guide. You’re so busy taking in the scenes and history around you, you don’t even realize the tower is creeping up on the horizon. Then you pull up to a stop light and your face to face with it, each leg straddling one side of the boulevard. In that moment, I felt like a Parisian.

Happy me!
