Beautiful area south side of the park
Munich’s English Garden is really a park for the public! People fill the park all day to relax, refresh, and unwind.
The park has some heavily wooded areas, but is mostly made up of wide open fields. These fields are often filled with people out enjoying the day, some even in the nude. The winding little rivers that go all over the park make lots of great places to cool off if it gets too hot.

If you seek something a little more active the park offers many options. From biking trails to various sports areas it’s all here. Most amzing of these though is the surfing area! One of the rivers coming into the park was designed to always have a perfect wave for surfers to ride. Even if you plan on staying dry it’s worth a visit.

Chinese Tower beer garden
Surfing and nude sun bathing can build quite the appetite, but the parks got a solution there as well! Head over to the Chinese Tower and you'll find a beer garden equipped with plenty of delicious food and drink to fill you up.
