New Zealand’s Hidden Gem

The Wheelhouse Inn offers the best views in NZ

The Crow’s Nest: Our Private House For Our Stay in Nelson

Nelson, New Zealand is known to be the sunniest place in the country, and sun was exactly what we craved after a rainy and gloomy Wellington the day before. The Wheelhouse Inn allowed us to soak in the best rays, especially on display during the sunset. Rather than going out to eat, we shopped for wine and created our own charcuterie plate. Katie, our resident sommelier, showed off her prowess when she sabered the top off the sparkling rose. We had the entire house to ourselves—The Wheelhouse has five different buildings to rent and we stayed in the Crow’s Nest, their two-bedroom house with private views of the Tasman Bay.
