A Short Trip To Burgos, Spain

A visit to the historic city center starts by crossing the Puente de Santa María. This bridge will make you feel like you’re in fairytale land entering an enchanted kingdom. Once you cross into the historic center, you will be greeted with the most amazing cathedral views. A tour inside is only 7€ and includes an audio guide in the language of your choice.

The second thing you absolutely do not want to miss is a climb up to the old castle. Don’t worry as the hike isn’t too intense and there are steps along the way! Halfway up the climb, there’s an observation deck that offers some of the most amazing views of the city. Next door is a cafe where you can enjoy a nice beverage. After a quick break, you can climb up to the top and find some pretty amazing castle ruins!

I would suggest a day or two in this amazing city. Be prepared for some cold and rainy weather unless you go in the summer. The only thing I regretted not packing was a good scarf!.
