La Brisa Beach Bar, Canggu

La Brisa Beach Bar Canggu

Probably my favourite beach bar in Bali so far, La Brisa has a rustic and hand-made vibe where everything is all built right on the sand, using the palm trees as barricades for the eclectic and unplanned architecture.

We came for breakfast, when it was still quiet and the palm trees created the perfect amount of shade for a morning coffee looking at the surfers in the big waves in the distance.

Where to stay :

Swanky Bunk Hostel has been one of our favourite places that we’ve stayed in Bali. With the perfect mix of social and relaxation, they are only a 10 min walk from La Brisa and are great value for money. We paid 80 000 idr for a dorm bed per night and they were super comfortable, clean, air conditioned and quiet. They have a pool and a great restaurant with free coffee and tea in the mornings, and beautiful acoustic live music on Mondays.

As we walked down to Pererenan beach from our hostel and along the sand towards the popular spot everyone had been telling us about, we found the cutest rustic wooden restaurant with chilled music and barefoot travellers. We couldn’t help but take photos before realising that this was in fact La Brisa!

As we walked in we were greeted by a lovely staff member who seated us right on the edge looking over the ocean. I ordered a cappuccino for 35 000 IDR and the Crushed Avo for 90 000 IDR. It’s way overpriced compared to the little cafes next door, but it’s a place you won’t forget for a special occasion. And man, was it delicious.

They also have a stunning pool to cool off after your walk and find the most amazing photo opportunities for your Insta!

With literally countless seating areas, there won’t be a time where you won’t find an adorable, quirky place to sit.
