George Town, declared World Heritage Site by Unesco, is a picturesque and artsy city, in the heart of Penang Island.

The streets of the old town is an open air museum, where everybody is free to take pictures and play around with the graffiti.

Sometimes you can even find a cue of people, waiting next to a graffiti to take pictures!

Graffiti are literally everywhere, they are so many that it’s even hard to spot all of them.

If you are a graffiti hunter, then you will need a specific map which you can get from your hostel or hotel, with all the main street art spots.

Just in 2012 the Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic, invented a new concept of street art: the illustrations, in fact, are made of plastic and combined with writings. Here you can have an example.
