Shopping on Calle Larios, Malaga

Shopping Through One of Spains Most Famous Distric

The Main Street of Malaga (Or Calle Larios) is the most beautiful street I have seen in my life.

It is the pedestrianized main shopping street in Malaga leading from Avenida Principal into the old town. A shoppers paradise and a great place just to sit and people watch. Larios Street is the most important avenue in Málaga and where the most exclusive stores in town are located. All the biggest cities of the world have their most emblematic streets such as Champs Elysees in Paris, the 5th Avenue in New York, Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, and others; Málaga has the fabulous Calle Larios.

From this famous street, you can get to the most important monuments in Malaga. This is one of the most important areas of the city and definitely a must-see if you visit. It is the 5th most expensive street in Spain; it goes from the Plaza de la Constitución to the Parque de la Alameda. A large pedestrian promenade where, besides the wide number of stores, there are also bars, ice cream stores, restaurants, terraces, and a fabulous atmosphere.

Calle Larios has places where you can have lunch and tea and, just a few steps away is the dazzling Atarazanas Market. The provisions market in the center of Malaga is worth a visit not just because of its beautiful building, which dates to the 14th century, but also due to the variety of products on offer.

The glittering streets of Calle Lario are marble and the sun bounces off of them. It is truly a sight to see and you can’t help but feel fabulous while walking down this iconic street.
