Explore a Sheep Farm in Taiwan

In the mountains of Taiwan, a tropical island nation off of the coast of China, lies a mountain sheep farm that features gorgeous views of the mountains. QingJing farm is famous for its beautiful vistas, friendly sheep, educational performances like sheep sheering and Taiwanese aboriginal dancing, miles of walking paths among other things.

I had the opportunity to visit QingJing farm while with my partner’s parents driving through Taiwan from Keelung to Tainan. This farm is popular with locals for it’s picturesque vistas and cool mountain air (especially in the summer when smog and heat make the cities unbearable.

The farm has several kilometers of walking paths, its own market, performances such as aboriginal dances and sheep shearing, and a herd of sheep.
