Day 1

Day 1 of the trip is always full of anxiety. After we collected our bikes we headed to a small and beautiful town Strasbourg.

On the way, there were plenty of small stops as we wanted to acclimatize ourselves to the bikes.

Small stops at the gas station or a coffee shop are so wonderful part of the road trip no one talks about much.

We reached Strasbourg with no expectations. It was just a night stop along the way to Faakerse, but this small town stole our heart with it’s well preserved culture.

Strasbourg is a beautiful mix of German and France. It wasnt so easy to detemine if it was a town of France or Germany.

From our hotel, I could explore many places.
