Where to sleep in Hanoi?

The Cocoon In Hostel

In Hanoi there are a lot of options to choose from, but we decided to blend a bit more with the local culture and other travelers and we stayed at the best hostel of Hanoi.

The Cocoon Inn Hostel, Hanoi

This hostel is in the middle of Hanoi and really close to everything. You might feel you’re in the center of humanity at some point, but you’re just in the city center of the most crowded city in Vietnam.

Shared room Shared room

We booked a shared room of 4 people (mix) because we were traveling with a girl. The rooms were very clean, the beds had a fan, a usb charger on the wall and a head light. Also, the matress was one of the best beds I've slept in.

You also have towels and your own closet that opens with a code. The bathroom is mid size, people really organise themselves quite well and you can coordinate with your roomates the shower times.

Staff is very welcoming from the first moment. The bar is open all day and there is always someone to help you out if you have a question regarding your plans.

I wish I had taken more photos from this place, but we were quite tired from the previous days and we just focused on socializing with people and getting to know the surroundings of the Hostel.

Honestly, if you want to extend your travels, specially through South East Asia, this is a great spot to stay at.

I forgot to mention, that in this Hostel, you can book a trip to Halong Bay with total confidence. I mention confidence because there are a lot of scams.

After a couple days in Hanoi, we went to Halong Bay with Oasis Bay Cruises!

Stay tunned to my next story to know more about my next adventure!

See you around,

Ivan
