The ancients Mayan’s were so reliant on rain water they built temples and pyramids to honor the rain Gods. Uxmal is a must see site in Mexico’s Yucatan province.

While we were there, guess what? it rained! We didn’t even need a sacrifice, lol! I guess the rain Gods were working that day. What’s also cool, is that there are some ruins that you can explore and climb on.
